Her commitment to service is deeply personal. Carly’s grandfather, Captain Herbert Thomson Kienzle MBE CBE, played a key role in the Kokoda Campaign of World War II, where his logistics expertise, knowledge of the region and connection with the Papuan carriers proved vital. After the war, he remained in Kokoda and dedicated much of his life to supporting the development of Papua New Guinea in its preparation for independence.
Carly carries forward his values of resilience, integrity and community contribution in her role as a Board Director.
