The HMAS Cairns FNQ Legacy Charity Golf Day, proudly presented by Dixon Homes, is set to be another fantastic day of golf, mateship and community spirit — all while raising vital funds to support local veterans’ families across Far North Queensland.

There are plenty of opportunities to walk away a winner, both on and off the course, with more than $10,000 in prizes up for grabs.
🏆 1st Team — $3,000 prize value
🥈 2nd Team — $1,000 prize value
🥉 3rd Team — $500 prize value
Plus, there are thousands of dollars in raffle and on-hole activation prizes, including nearest-to-the-pin competitions, hole prizes and more.
The Charity Golf Day brings together members of the community, local businesses, HMAS Cairns personnel and supporters of FNQ Legacy for a memorable day on the course.
Participants will enjoy 18 holes of Ambrose golf, a golf cart, a BBQ breakfast cooked by HMAS Cairns sailors and a Salt House lunch cooked fresh on site.
Supporting Local Veterans’ Families
Most importantly, every team that tees off helps FNQ Legacy continue its vital work supporting local veterans’ families across Far North Queensland.
Last year, the generosity of our players, sponsors and supporters helped raise an incredible $27,000 towards the playground at FNQ Legacy House.
The HMAS Cairns FNQ Legacy Charity Golf Day is about more than golf. It’s an opportunity to enjoy great company, celebrate mateship and make a meaningful difference in the lives of local veterans’ families.
