Chris Bird

Director

Chris is a Board Director and Legatee of FNQ Legacy, bringing strong construction, financial and commercial expertise to the organisation.

He plays a key role as a driver of the Legacy House project, helping to guide the vision, planning and delivery of this important future hub for veterans’ families. With a focus on strong governance, financial oversight and long-term sustainability, Chris helps ensure the project is progressed with care, accountability and purpose.

A proud Far North Queensland local and passionate community supporter, Chris is a Director at HEH Civil, a respected Queensland civil construction company delivering major infrastructure projects across the state. His extensive experience in large-scale project delivery, operational leadership and infrastructure development brings valuable insight to the FNQ Legacy Board.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Economics, majoring in Accounting, a Diploma of Finance, and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Through his role with FNQ Legacy, Chris is committed to helping build a stronger future for the families of fallen and incapacitated veterans across Far North Queensland.
